The first stage in applying the bilateral agreement with Estonia / 14.12.2010
During the period 13-17 December 2010, a group of experts from the Estonian Tax and Customs Boardwill visit the Main State Tax Inspectorate.
This is the first visit from the cooperation program, foreseen by the Agreement for bilateral cooperation between the Main State Tax Inspectorate of the Republic of Moldova and the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, which will be focused on two priority issues: transfer pricing and service to taxpayers.
On the first day, a meeting with the top management of MSTI was planned to discuss the program and subsequently they will work in two parallel working sessions. Thus, Mr. Kaido Lemendik will moderate the working group composed of representatives of the Ministry of Finance and MSTI, representatives and invitees from the Parliamentary Commission on Economy, Budget and Finance, Court of Accounts, Ministry of Economy, Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, Service of Financial Control and Audit. The discussions will focus on Estonian experience in transfer pricing area in the context of possible implementation of these regulations in the Republic of Moldova too.
At the same time, Mr. Rivo Reitmann and Janek Rozov – experts in the area of fiscal services will work with the second working group aiming to develop and expand services to taxpayers. Following the consultation of Estonian practice and analysis of the situation in the Republic of Moldova it is planned to develop a taxpayer service methodology that will contain the basic values promoted by the State Tax Service - a viable and effective partnership with taxpayers.
